I got this nice map card from Louisiana today. It also shows the state flag (with a pelican) and flower (magnolia). There are 4 stamps on the back of a teapot, a clock and 2 of bonsai trees. The card took 8 days to get here and traveled 3,764 km.
I also got a postcard from the USA today. It comes from a person in Texas but is a photo of Muskegon South Pier Lighthouse in Muskegon, Michigan. There are 2 stamps on the back of 2 American poets, William Carlos Williams and Gwendolyn Brooks. The card took 10 days to get here and traveled 3,866 km.
I got a postcard from Malaysia today. It shows 3 photos from the 3 main religions of Malaysia: Lord Murugan, Batu Caves (Hinduism); Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur (Buddhism) and Kuala Lumpur's oldest mosque, Masjid Jamek (Islam). There are 2 stamps on the back of a lotus flower and dove. The card took 12 days to get here and traveled 13,856 km.
I am sending a postcard to a young woman in Lithuania. She has a big list of favourites (which is good) and one of them is city views at night. I thought she would like this card of Ottawa. Postage to Lithuania is $1.80.
