The postcard I sent to Belgium got there in just 5 days after traveling 4,065 km.

Postcard #308 - GERMANY



I got a postcard from Germany today. It shows some sort of building but I have no idea what it is because it's not written on the card and the sender didn't tell me what it was. There are 2 stamps on the back, 1 of  a marigold and 1 of the 200th anniversary of the Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing. The card took 9 days to get here and traveled 4,583 km.

Sent Postcard #340 - HONG KONG


I am sending a postcard to Hong Kong. It's going to a young woman who listed flags in her favourites so I am sending this Newfoundland flag card. Postage to Hong Kong is $1.80.

Postcard #307 - RUSSIA



I also got a postcard from Russia. It shows the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow. There are 3 beautiful stamps on the back, 1 snowflake shaped stamp of a church, another of St. Basil's Cathedral and 1 of a rose. The card took 41 days to get here and traveled 5,860 km.

Postcard #306 - USA



I got 2 postcards today. The first is from Virginia and is a nice map card. I've been to a few places in Virginia and it's always nice to get a postcard from places I have visited. There are 3 stamps on the back of an Hawaiian shirt, a dragon for lunar new year and the flag of Oregon. The card took 13 days to get here and traveled 2,268 km.

I am sending a postcard to a man in Idaho, USA. He likes cards that show things from the sender's area so I chose this multi-view of Labrador. Postage to the USA is $1.05.

Postcard #305 - GERMANY



My final postcard today is from Germany. It shows the innerharbour in Duisburg in western Germany, the largest inland harbour in the world. There is 1 stamp on the back of a church. The card took 11 days to get here and traveled 4,206 km.

Postcard #304 - POLAND



My 3rd postcard is from Poland. It's a multi-view showing photos from different towns & cities in the Silesia area in southern Poland. There are 3 stamps on the back, 2 of churches and 1 of an estate house. The card took 8 days to get here and traveled 5,034 km.

Postcard #303 - TAIWAN



My 2nd card today is from Taiwan. It's a photo of Eluanbi Lighthouse located at Cape Eluanbi,  the southernmost point of Taiwan. It is also the brightest lighthouse in Taiwan. There are 3 stamps on the back, 1 of hikers, 1 of boats and mountains and 1 of a cityscape and dragon boaters. The card took 9 days to get here and traveled 12,103 km.

Postcard #302 - USA



I got 4 postcards today! The first is from New York state. The text on the back of the card reads: "Fort Ticonderoga, "the land between two waters", commands the strategic portage between Lake Champlain and Lake George". There are 3 stamps on the back of a Tiffany lamp, George Washington and a dolphin. The card took 14 days to get here and traveled 1,921 km.

Postcard #301 - SPAIN



I got a postcard from Spain today. It's a photo of  Park Güell in Barcelona, Spain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are no stamps on the back, just a cancellation stamp. It doesn't look like a metered stamp so I think the sender forgot to put the stamp on but it was delivered anyway. The card took 24 days to get here and traveled 4,336 km.

Postcard #300 - UNITED KINGDOM



Postcard #300 came today! It's hard to believe I have gotten 300 cards from all over the world. This one is from the UK and shows a photo of Stonehenge. There are 4 stamps on the back, 3 of the Queen and 1 of 10 Downing Street. The card took 8 days to get here and traveled 3,685 km.

Postcard #299 - ECUADOR



My 3rd postcard today is from Ecuador!!!! It's the first card I have gotten from that country, in fact the first card I have ever gotten from South America. It's an aerial view of the city of Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador. The postcard is a postage-paid card so the stamp is printed on and matches the picture on the front. The card took 12 days to get here and traveled 6,157 km.

My 2nd card today is from Belarus. It's a painting of the Minsk bus station circa 1951. There is 1 stamp on a star design on the back. The card took 22 days to get here and traveled 5,397 km.
